[RO] Brașovul ascuns se dezvăluie pe o pagină de Facebook și pe un site de pe tumblr. Frânturi de istorie, amintiri, imagini deosebite, toate sunt adunate de iubitorii orașului Brașov și publicate pentru a bucura ochii tuturor. Știm cu toții că Brașovul e un oraș superb, iar atunci când trecem de bariera turistică, superficială și îi cunoaștem adevăratul spirit, devine infinit mai special.
Firește, era nevoie de un simbol potrivit. Istoria impusese deja o stemă formată dintr-o coroană, flori de crin și rădăcinile unui copac. Percepția mea asupra orașului a impus coroana ca element reprezentativ, așa că am creat o coroană abstractizată din inițialele proiectului – BvA (Brașov se abreviază geografic în forma Bv).
[EN] The hidden Brașov reveals itself on a Facebook page and on a website on tumblr. Bits of history, memories, rare photos and more are all gathered by the ones who love the city of Brașov and they are published online so that everyone can feast their eyes. We (Romanians) all know that Brașov is a beautiful town, but once you get further from the superficial and “touristy” veil, and see its true spirit, it becomes truly stunning.
Of course, it needed an appropriate symbol. History had already established an emblem combining a crown, lilies and the roots of a tree. My own perspective on the city made the crown its most representative element, so I created an abstract crown, built on the initials of the project – BvA (Brașov Ascuns, translated into Hidden Brașov; and I chose Bv instead of B, because that is its official abbreviation).
